Location & Setting
Mohlabetsi Safari Lodge sits 10 km north of Hoedspruit, 25 km from Eastgate Airport (HDS). The lodge is part of the Balule Nature Reserve, incorporated into the Greater Kruger National Park Management Area. Guests can traverse over 12,000 hectares of wilderness on game drives and walking tours.
Accommodations
The lodge offers six thatched rondawels with twin/king or queen beds and private en-suite bathrooms. Two family rooms have interleading doors between twin/king and queen rooms, each with their own facilities. A luxurious suite goes beyond the other rooms and includes a private pool for cooling off in the African sun.
Dining & Activities
Meals are served in multiple settings: breakfast in the indoor dining room, lunch on the lawn under a canopy of trees, and dinner in the boma with campfire meals. The lodge has a large curio shop and a hammock area alongside the outdoor swimming pool. The outdoor bar and lounge offers views of the bushveld overlooking a well-frequented waterhole.
Wellness & Services
Couples massage and full body massage are available at the lodge. The outdoor swimming pool comes with sun loungers and pool/beach towels. An airport shuttle service to Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport is provided, and the lodge offers daily housekeeping, laundry, and luggage storage.
